QR Blue helps Rungis modernise parking with QR-Rungis

The town of Rungis is taking a new step in modernising its public services with the rollout of QR-Rungis, an innovative resident parking service built on QR Blue technology.

From 15 June 2026, Rungis residents can apply for their parking permit directly online. This new service accompanies the introduction of blue zone parking planned from 1 September 2026.

Simpler management for residents

With QR-Rungis, residents can now apply for their permit online, with no paper form or complex administrative handling.

The service makes it possible to:

  • apply online for parking permits;
  • manage proof of address and vehicle registration documents;
  • issue secure, personal permits;
  • renew permits easily;
  • manage temporary visitor permits.

Reserved for the town's residents, the QR-Rungis permit is free, valid for two years and linked to a vehicle registered in the applicant's name.

A practical answer to parking challenges

Faced with growing parking pressure in some parts of the town, Rungis decided to introduce blue zones to encourage vehicle turnover and improve access to available spaces.

The measure aims in particular to:

  • improve the availability of parking spaces;
  • limit long-term “parked forever” vehicles;
  • make shops and services easier to reach;
  • improve residents' quality of life.

Nearly 300 new spaces are covered by the scheme, in addition to the existing zones.

A powerful tool for municipal services

Beyond the user experience, QR-Rungis gives municipal services a real management tool.

Staff have a centralised solution that lets them:

  • handle applications in real time;
  • check permits quickly with the QR code;
  • reduce administrative tasks;
  • follow usage statistics;
  • simplify the management of parking rights.

This digital approach makes checks more efficient while reducing management costs.

A new reference for QR Blue

The choice made by Rungis confirms the relevance of the QR Blue platform for supporting local authorities in their resident parking and blue zone projects.

Flexible and customisable, the solution adapts to the specific needs of each area and makes it possible to roll out digital services for residents and staff quickly.

With QR-Rungis, the town now has a modern, easy-to-use tool that is well suited to today's urban mobility challenges.

We thank the town of Rungis for its trust and are proud to help improve its residents' daily lives through smoother, more efficient parking management.
