# Security and data protection

Parking permits concern your residents. QR Blue is designed to collect the minimum, keep it for as short a time as possible and trace everything.

## Our security commitments

### Minimisation by design

The authority chooses which data it collects. The minimum: plate, e-mail address for reminders, type and zone. Other fields remain optional.

### Documents never kept

Documents uploaded online are deleted automatically as soon as the officer decides, whether the request is approved or refused.

### No plate in the QR

The badge on the windscreen only contains a random identifier. The link to the plate stays on the server.

### Everything is traced

Creations, extensions, decisions and exports are logged with their author. Every export of personal data is itself recorded.

### Controlled access

Roles and permissions per staff member and team. Residents access their file with a one-time code sent by e-mail.

### Sovereign hosting in Europe

Data hosted and processed in France and the European Union, in a private cloud: no US cloud provider, no transfer outside the EU. Communications encrypted with TLS.

## Who is responsible for what

The authority is the data controller; KLICAT SAS, publisher of QR Blue, acts as processor under Article 28 of the GDPR. These commitments are set out in our terms (Article 10).

## Reversibility

Your data belongs to you. At the end of the contract, we return it in a usable format within 30 days, then delete it from our production and backup servers.

## Documents ready for your DPO

From the management space, the authority can download at any time documents generated from its own configuration:

- Six processing records for your register (Article 30 GDPR)
- The subscription contract
- The terms of sale and use, including the processor clause

## What QR Blue is not

QR Blue is a tool to help manage and enforce parking. It is not a certified ticketing device: recording offences remains the sole responsibility of the authority's sworn officers.
