# New: short-stay parking management arrives in QR Blue

QR Blue keeps evolving to make urban parking easier to manage. After the **Blue Zone** and **resident parking**, discover the brand-new **Short-Stay module**.
This module **digitises and automates very short parking stays** using simple **QR codes** installed on each space.
An innovation designed to ease traffic, reduce offences and give drivers a clear service.

## How it works

Each short-stay space has its own unique QR code.
The driver scans it to record their licence plate and start a timer.
No app is needed: everything happens on a responsive web page.
Municipal officers use **the QR Blue Agent app** to check the validity of stays in real time.

## Two ways to check

**Check by space**
The officer scans the space's QR code and immediately sees the plates with an active or recently expired session (with a configurable grace period).
**Check by vehicle**
The officer types the plate or scans the vehicle's resident QR.
The app instantly shows whether a short stay is in progress or has expired.
